How the Smithy's weapon forging works
Forging a weapon at the Smithy adds random bonus stat lines on top of its base damage.
A weapon's forge slot count is fixed by the weapon. Grade 1-5 weapons come in variants with 0, 1, or 2 slots: within a grade they trade raw damage for slots, so the highest-damage weapon has none and the lowest-damage one has the most. Grade-6 weapons always have 1 or 2 (never 0). A weapon's slot count is shown on its page.
Each forge costs Gold and the cost doubles every time you forge that weapon. You can reset the cost back down with Honor (the Honor cost scales with the weapon's grade). Forged weapons cannot be reverted.
The lines below are the full pool, by category. Higher grades roll larger values, so a fully forged weapon can add a lot on top of its raw damage.
